7-Hour Workshop

Date: Saturday, February 24, 2024

Time: 10am-5pm

Description: Students will make a 14k yellow gold band approximately 3-4 mm in width. You will learn about the process of melting gold and making and ingot. Then, students will roll out their metal and form their bands.

Tuition: $95 + $400 materials fee (see below)

Materials: The final price is based on the weight of the finished band and the daily market price of gold. The estimated cost of each band is $400, which will be due at registration. Any additional materials fee will be based on the weight of the finished band and can be paid on site the day of the workshop.

Location: Contemporary Craft (5645 Butler St., Pittsburgh, PA 15201)

Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded through Eventbrite, or you may leave your workshop fee in your Contemporary Craft account for future workshops.

Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks.

About the Artist

Rachael is a studio artist based in Pittsburgh, PA. She launched her business, Rachael Morgan Jewelry in 2020 and went full-time in the summer of 2023. Rachael focuded on a sterling silver production line and custom work. She has created custom engagement and wedding band sets for countless couples.
