Out of Hand: Pure Imagination
Enter a world of pure imagination, as we celebrate the grand opening of the new Timmons Studios! Across both buildings of the Contemporary Craft campus, you'll take a creative journey featuring hands-on activities, artist demos, and a final look at Keiko Fukazawa Retrospective: The Space in Between. And of course, the evening wouldn't be complete without a silent auction, food, drinks, and music curated by Kinselland Radio.
Contemporary Craft fosters the use of traditional craft materials such as ceramic, fiber, glass, metal and wood to make art. Our community honors the history and heritage of craft, while showcasing modern, exploratory work.

Be a Piece of CC’s History!
Support a stunning new permanent art piece by artist Kim Fox, to be installed in the main entry of Timmons Studio! Inspired by the building’s history as a saw factory and the beauty of craft materials, this piece will feature wood and metal elements arranged in a striking sawtooth quilt pattern.
By sponsoring a piece of the quilt, you’ll leave your mark on this historic space—and if you purchase by June 1, you’ll also receive a special gift! Sponsorship starts at $250, offering a meaningful way to support CC’s growth and help make Pittsburgh the Heart of Craft.
Plus, all sponsors will be recognized on a permanent map of supporters, ensuring your name becomes part of CC’s legacy.
Don’t miss this chance to contribute to something lasting. Join us in celebrating craft, history, and community!
