Community Day
Join us from 10 AM - 4 PM for a day of family-friendly fun and hands-on activities based on our new exhibition "芸[Gei]: The Beauty of Ephemeral and Eternal"! Check out artist demos, make some art in our Studios, enjoy light snacks, and participate in a scavenger hunt of the exhibition. Community Day is part of RAD Days 2024 and is free and open to the public – we hope to see you there!
Contemporary Craft fosters the use of traditional craft materials such as ceramic, fiber, glass, metal and wood to make art. Our community honors the history and heritage of craft, while showcasing modern, exploratory work.

2025 Elizabeth R. Raphael Founder’s Prize Open Call
Submissions are now open for the 2025 Elizabeth R. Raphael Prize and Exhibition!
The deadline is Friday, October 18, at 11:59 PM EST.
This year, the triennial award, which is given in conjunction with a $5,000 cash prize, catalogue, video profile, and juried exhibition, will be awarded for a work in wood. The competition is open to all artists working in wood, and emerging artists are especially encouraged to apply.
The exhibition will be on view September 19. 2025 - January 17, 2026.
