Loom Club

Thanks to the generosity of many individuals and organizations, Contemporary Craft has acquired multiple floor and tabletop looms.  The looms are beautiful, though they all could use a little love get/keep them in full working condition.  That is one goal of Loom Club: we will get/keep these ten looms in great working condition for weaving classes!

Loom Club will continue to meet and grow as a local resource for loom-enthusiasts and weavers.  Do you need to know anything about weaving or looms to join? No! Loom Club is open to all!  Please join us at one of our upcoming meetings:

Wednesday, October 16, 6pm-8pm
Wednesday, November 20, 6pm-8pm

We welcome anyone who is interested and invite you to come to the next meeting or email Jamie at jboyle@contemporarycraft.org with any questions.

JEM Club

The mission of JEM Club is to promote interest in the Metals Studio at Contemporary Craft while engaging the student community with educational and production opportunities. Participants may learn new techniques for their making practices while reciprocating to the studio in the form of sample-making and tool care. This exchange will invite students to develop a network at CC and to provide more opportunities to increase the breadth of techniques taught in the Metals studio.

Upcoming Meeting Dates:

  • October 16, 6pm-8pm
  • November 20, 6pm-8pm

Please email Allison at ajones@contemporarycraft.org with any questions.
