Hey Yinz! SCC is co-sponsoring an exhibition with the Pittsburgh Society of Artists entitled Shelter, which will be presented at SCC’s satellite gallery in October, 2010. I am proud to be the jurer for the exhibition and encourage anyone working in craft media in the Pittsburgh area to consider submitting!
This exhibition will explore the literal and metaphorical definitions and concepts related to Shelter. Artists are asked to utilize green or re-purposed materials.?
Criteria:
Open to artists residing in Pittsburgh and the surrounding region
Pieces must be made primarily of craft media and have dimensions no larger than 24" x 12" x 12" in any direction.?
Entry Fee:
$35
$25 (for members of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists)
