The Fiberart International 2013 is a triennial exhibition featuring established and emerging fiber artists from around the world. Presented by the Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh, the exhibit is juried by a panel of esteemed artists and curators – including Paulina Ortiz, Kai Chan, and Joyce Scott – and features 81 works by 64 artists. Half of the exhibition will be on display at Contemporary Craft, with the other half on view at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.
Eye-opening and awe-inspiring, the Fiberart International 2013 highlights the very best of this versatile medium and will challenge your notion of “fiber.”
