Cities of Steel Cities of Rust is a collaboration between Allegheny Metals Collection and Baltimore Jewelry Center Peer Group. Ten jewelry artists in each city started a new piece of jewelry based on a site in their city that has personal or iconic meaning. The artist then exchanged the work in progress with their counterpart in the other city to develop and complete the piece. In total, 20 new works were created that explore the commonalities between Pittsburgh and Baltimore and bring these two communities into closer conversation.
