Sweet and Light Metal Clay and Wire Earrings with Donna Penoyer

3-Hour Workshop
Date: Tuesday, December 2nd
Time: 6pm-9pm
Description: This workshop is a fun way to try metal clay while making delightful earrings to keep or give as presents. Students will learn how to fuse fine silver wire into open shapes, then incorporate small silver metal clay elements before firing. Shape, join, refine, fire, polish, and add patina all in one session! Students will complete 1-2 pairs of earrings from start to finish. Additional pieces may be left for the instructor to fire after the workshop.
Tuition: $65 + $45 materials fee

We really want you to join us in the studio! Full and partial tuition scholarships are available to offset some of the financial burden of attending a class. Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded through Eventbrite, or you may leave your workshop fee in your Contemporary Craft account for future workshops.
Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks.

About the Artist
Donna Penoyer is a master metal clay instructor who has been working in the medium since 2005. She has taught workshops throughout the U.S., England, and Belgium and has created a number of video tutorials available through craftcast.com. Although she developed a spirited, over-the-top, 21-year career as a professional stiltwalker, these days Donna is pretty down-to-earth. She is a welcoming teacher who believes there is a gleeful maker in everyone.
