Needle Felted Succulent with Amanda Stumpf

5-Hour Workshop
Date: Saturday, October 7, 2023
Time: 10am-3pm
Description: Needle felting is a process that involves sculpting shapes and figures using a type of wool called roving and special felting needles that have sharp, barbed blades. Needle felting works by agitating the fibers in the wool with the barbed needles so they bond together making a solid piece of felt. In this workshop you will learn the basics of needle felting to create your own cactus/succulent that never needs sun or water.
Tuition: $75 + $15 materials fee

Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded through Eventbrite, or you may leave your workshop fee in your Contemporary Craft account for future workshops.
Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks.
About the Artist
Amanda was born in Pittsburgh in 1994. She is an American jewellery maker from Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school in 2012, she moved to Ohio to attend Kent State University, where she completed a BFA in Crafts with a concentration in jewellery and metalwoking, under Demita Thomloudis, along with a minor in At History. Wanting to continue hereducation she moved to Florence, Italy to attend Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School to receive her MFA where she studied under Evert Nijland, Jorge Manilla and Lucy Sarneel.
