3-Hour Workshop

Date: Thursday, December 11th

Time: 6pm-9pm

Description: Make your own metal ornament for yourself or someone special. Each student will design their own ornament on a blank ornament template. You will then bring your design to life by piercing and sawing your ornament. For all levels, no metalsmithing experience necessary!

Tuition: $65 + $10 materials fee

We really want you to join us in the studio! Full and partial tuition scholarships are available to offset some of the financial burden of attending a class. Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded through Eventbrite, or you may leave your workshop fee in your Contemporary Craft account for future workshops.

Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks.

About the Artist

Amanda was born in Pittsburgh in 1994. She is an American jewellery maker from Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school in 2012, she moved to Ohio to attend Kent State University, where she completed a BFA in Crafts with a concentration in jewellery and metalworking, under artist Demitra Thomloudis, along with a minor in Art History. Wanting to continue her education, she moved to Florence, Italy, to attend Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School to receive her MFA, where she studied under Evert Nijland, Jorge Manilla, and Lucy Sarneel.
