About the Artist Cathy Madjaric started her crochet journey sixteen years ago when her older daughter taught her to crochet. She quickly realized that her inability to ever meet gauge would render every project a mess and started rewriting patterns to meet her own gauge. This process turned out to be a class in pattern writing and design. Now she freehands all of her projects, mostly clothing, and enjoys the challenge of figuring out how to make her stitches match her vision. She holds a degree in Fine Art from Dickinson College and an MA in Art History from the University of Pittsburgh. She lives with her family, a cat, and two chinchillas. She is always ready to get a new kitten.
Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded through Eventbrite, or you may leave your workshop fee in your Contemporary Craft account for future workshops.
Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks.
