Botanical Bundle Dyeing with Amy Garbark of garbella

3-Hour Workshop

Description: Join local artist Amy Garbark of garbella in creating your own botanically dyed bandana or tote bag! Workshop participants will lean how to bundle dye using plants, flowers, and other natural sources in a small group setting. Join us to make your own scarf/bandana or cotton market tote using a collection of dried flowers that were grown, collected, and saved from Amy’s dye garden + some additional materials. Unbundling your first (and every!) bundle feels a little bit magical! Come out and join us for a little bit of magic and plan appreciation!
Each participant will go home with with own custom made, unique, botanically bundle dyed organic cotton bandana or cotton market tote bag! No experience necessary and beginners welcome.
Tuition: $55 + $20 materials fee
Materials: All materials will be provided.
Location: Contemporary Craft (5645 Butler St., Pittsburgh, PA 15201)
Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded through Eventbrite, or you may leave your workshop fee in your Contemporary Craft account for future workshops.
Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks.

Amy Garbark is an artist and maker who operates a studio and business (garbella) in Pittsburgh, PA. She is a printmaker, fiber artist, natural dyer and general fiber artist and surface design enthusiast who loves learning new things.
