Recommend a Grant from Your Donor Advised Fund
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) are the fastest-growing giving method to manage charitable donations. DAFs allow donors to invest funds set aside for charitable giving and recommend donations to nonprofit organizations from the fund over time.
You can create a DAF at any commercial provider (Vanguard, Fidelity, Schwab, etc.) or a community foundation (The Pittsburgh Foundation, The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, etc.) using a variety of assets and receive an immediate tax benefit.
Gifts made to Contemporary Craft can be designated to be used wherever the need is greatest or directed to specific areas, including the Lydon Innovation Fund, an individual exhibition or program, and more. Donors can also designate a specific amount or a percentage of a DAF as a legacy gift to Contemporary Craft after their lifetime.
