INCLUDE CONTEMPORARY CRAFT IN YOUR WILL
The easiest form of planned giving is through a bequest or estate plan. Below is language you may give to your attorney or financial planner.
- Residuary bequest is stated as a percentage (e.g. “___% of my estate”)
- Specific bequest is stated as a fixed dollar amount (e.g. “The sum of $____”)
It is often simpler to express your bequests as a percentage of your estate; in the event your estate changes in value, you may not have to update your will as often as your gifts will remain proportional to your estate.
We suggest the following language for a bequest gift to Contemporary Craft:
“I give to Contemporary Craft, EIN: #25-1375646, a nonprofit organization that is recognized tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code the sum of $_______________; or ___________% of my estate; or the rest, residue and remainder of my estate.”
NAME CONTEMPORARY CRAFT AS A BENEFICIARY
Many donors choose to designate Contemporary Craft as a beneficiary of all or part of their retirement plans, insurance policies, or even their donor-advised funds.
Naming Contemporary Craft as a beneficiary is easy. Contact a representative of the institution that manages your account or policy, and request a “change of beneficiary form”. You will need the following information: Name: Contemporary Craft, EIN: #25-1375646.
