C3: Cloth, Culture, Community, Exploring 1,000 years of Black Pittsburgh
C3 began with a question, "Who was the first Black person in Pittsburgh?" The answer led to an exploration of over 1,000 years of history, beginning in West Africa and taking us all the way to the year 3000. From African queens to war veterans, and coal miners to civil rights activists.

Out of Hand
Join us for an Out of Hand like none before! We are planning to awe and delight our guests with substantial changes to our auction, surprising happenings throughout the night, hands-on experiences, a new lounge area for VIP ticket holders, and a Dessert & Dancing ticket. What better theme for an April 1st celebration than Expect the Unexpected, which will be our mantra for the night.
Contemporary Craft fosters the use of traditional craft materials such as ceramic, fiber, glass, metal and wood to make art. Our community honors the history and heritage of craft, while showcasing modern, exploratory work.
